Une star de cinéma d'action américaine, un producteur, un écrivain, un artiste martial, un guitariste et un shérif adjoint de réserve. Ceinture noire 7e dan en Aikido, Seagal a commencé sa vie d'adulte en tant qu'instructeur d'Aikido au Japon. Il est devenu le premier étranger à exploiter un dojo d'aïkido au Japon. Il a ensuite déménagé dans la région de Los Angeles, en Californie, où il a fait ses débuts au cinéma en 1988 dans Above the Law.
