Wild Palms
Dans un futur proche, à Los Angeles, la vie jusqu'alors tranquille d'Harry Wyckoff, avocat d'affaires, bascule lorsque ancienne amie, Paige Katz, lui demande de retrouver son fils disparu. Elle travaille pour la société Wild Palms, poursuivie en justice par le cabinet de Wyckoff, et ce dernier perd son travail. C'est alors que le sénateur Anton Kreutzer, fondateur de la religion synthiotique, qui cherche à développer la réalité virtuelle, lui offre un poste à Channel 3. Mais d'étranges incidents se produisent, dans l'indifférence générale…
