Arpeggio of Blue Steel
Au début du XXIe siècle, la montée des eaux contraint l'humanité à se retirer des côtes. Alors que l'homme aurait pu exploiter les vastes mers, la flotte de la Brume surgit, interdisant toute navigation océanique. Rapidement, elle isole les continents en neutralisant les moyens de communication. Les armes traditionnelles s'avèrent inefficaces face à cette menace. L'unique espoir réside en l'I-401, un navire de la flotte de la Brume rallié au camp humain, et son commandant, le jeune Gunzô Chihaya.
