Roger Keith « Syd » Barrett (6 janvier 1946 – 7 juillet 2006) était un chanteur, auteur-compositeur, musicien, compositeur et peintre anglais. Mieux connu en tant que fondateur et membre du groupe de rock Pink Floyd, Barrett était le chanteur, guitariste et auteur-compositeur principal dans ses premières années et on lui attribue le nom du groupe. Barrett a été exclu de Pink Floyd en avril 1968 après que David Gilmour ait pris la relève en tant que nouveau guitariste et a été brièvement hospitalisé en raison de spéculations à propps d'une maladie mentale et de sa consommation de drogues psych…
